For someone who has cash - could be a great deal and very secure against a low leveraged property.Best,Michael Vallee No you may not, this falls under self dealing, invalid contract, as you can't create a debt as an asset to yourself, use that or market that you're looking at fraud, racketeering issues, take a mortgage deduction you're looking at tax fraud.

Once the order has been made to start the foreclosue (tax deed sale) then it is set and what every property that does not sell goes into Lands Available where you can buy the property directly from the county.

I arranged a mover for them and the day I provided them with the security deposit (it was actually given directly to their new landlord) they were gone and the problem was solved in less than 4 days.
