We are considering a purchase of a 3-bedroom SFR in a good school district.

The house is now rented through the 2014-15 school year, and working on finishing the rehab through the winter & spring.I've really enjoyed the BP podcasts and blog, but am new to the forums.

But Ann, the NOAA website says Waltham is only getting 6-8" ;-) Winter joking aside ... best to not venture out if not absolutely essential.We received 16-18" on Sunday/Monday and still sent the kids to school :)

The larger houses can get more money in the best school district but those are hard.

For that zip code, the school district is not preferable to me.

In fact, someone PMed me saying where that degree was from and mentioned that it's from a mail in degree bogus school, but, whatever.
