I am enjoying for the past 2.5 years the results of self development and Grant Cardone's teachings, knowledge of Bigger Pockets, Eating up all the books recommended by guest.

The builder wont be ready for 12 days....We are 5 days from close and the lender appraised the house for 134K  (3K shy of contract price) because he had to appraise it with no garage.What are my options in order to get this deal done without walking away from 3K?

We are under contract on our first property: a duplex in Jefferson County NY.

We can really make these homes nice, and not feel like we are wasting the money.#4 Property taxes for investors in SC are ridiculously high (6%), and the home is still assessed value at our original purchase price ($55,000). 

Although we will likely not use the property ourselves as we are in California, my partner, who lives on the east coast does plan to use it on occasion for vacation from time to time. 

We also have 200 photos of the home prior to move in so we can clearly show the damage we are charging for was not there upon movein.

Better to build your own equity through the debt pay down, enjoy the tax benefits of ownership, and garner the equity of an appreciating asset.
