If you are being represented by the agent, the agent has certain fiduciary obligations to you (like obedience, disclosure, etc).

You could also review the seller's disclosures and see if they had negligence on the sale for not disclosing the lift station to you.

OP disappeared but a good place to start would be a BP Pro or Premium membership where you get access to lease agreements and related forms, disclosures tailored to each individual state.Go here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/perks/pro I believe BP hired local landlord/tenant attorneys to prepare these packages... and I assume they would be updated periodically to reflect any changes to local law.

Books and the BiggerPockets forums (and articles) are great free and low cost resources to use.As a disclosure, I did take courses with RE Mentor and found them to be very valuable, but they're also very expensive.
