My stupidity aside, is it common practice for her to charge me $1,000 to $2,500 to use her services AND received commission fees?

I recently made a an offer (a low ball offer that will be my first live in flip) and it got accepted.My current residence is expected to make $100k after broker commission once it’s sold.

The investor, the agents that get the commission, the contractor and his employees, the property manager, the tenant, and everyone in the neighborhood by taking a distressed property and turning it in to a great rental! 

An agent isn’t going to refer a property to you unless he is making a commission on it.....that’s how they make their living.  

Does the policy also cover realtor commission on your home sales?
