San Bernardino Short Term Rentals Public Hearing

Supervisor Dawn Rowe ·  · One of my biggest concerns as your County Supervisor is the influx of

short-term rentals in our district. As a result, I’m excited to announce

that the County of San Bernardino

Planning Commission will conduct a hearing regarding a proposed

amendment to our County’s short-term rental ordinance on Thursday,

August 8, at 9:00AM. The hearing will be held at the County Government

Center, located at 385 N.

Arrowhead Ave in San Bernardino. The Bob Burke Government Center in

Joshua Tree will also be made available for public comment via video

conference for those unable to attend the hearing in person. The

proposed changes to the ordinance are a big deal for Morongo Basin

residents, as the current ordinance only affects unincorporated mountain

communities. It’s important for my constituents to have their voices

heard, which is why I encourage you to read the proposed changes and

offer feedback. If you’d like to submit your comments for consideration

during the hearing, please email them to me at

Supervisor.Rowe[at]bos.sbcounty.gov and I will make sure to forward them to the Planning Commission.
