And the requirement to become a broker is a certain amount of experience in some states (in addition to passing tests), while I believe there are states where there is no experience required to become a broker (just passing tests).My guess is you read things correctly ...

We have scheduled an XRF test to try to get the lead-free certificate that Maryland allows, but if it doesn't pass, how much more expensive is it to have work done using lead-safe contractors and/or maintaining/using your own certification?

But some good buyers will because they can own the home after 5 years OR you're giving them a very affordable move-in payment, etc.From what I've seen in the area stick to 3 bedrooms at first and test your market for buyers before you buy anything.
