I bought my primary residential back in 2013 in the Bay Area so I saw the  value grew, at the same time wondering if entering real estate investment market in 2016-2017 would be much more risky since the price is so high and the market is slowing down.

My mom is still there in the house I grew up in and the neighborhood has changed around her and others her age that I remember when I was small.What you describe in Monclair I am familiar with from the stories my mom tells me and of course the news.

Hi @Amanda Boshard I grew up in Vernal and my folks still live there.

I grew up in Homewood and before i moved out west i knew the south burbs well.

On top of that, the number of vacation rentals grew astronomically the last few years and many are losing money.
