@Michael M. watch which advice you take on this subject because there is some variation around the country based on state, city, county, etc.

In addition, the cameras--- with multiple signs warning people they are being watched, and have the cameras high and very visible.       

watch a few episodes of Holmes on homes and income property on HGTV.  

There are renters in my building (not paying as much as my mortgage) and I do have neighbors/friends who would watch this property for me.
