They usually give out free market reports on a local level.You could call an appraiser who has access to tools the above companies have.You can also do a demographic analysis of the area taking into account housing stock and demand.You can call your local bureau of economic analysis - they usually keep this info on a yearly basis as well.

So what I meant was having the choice of my own personal IRAs, I would have used the Traditional for SDIRAs and kept the ROTH for non-SDIRAs such as stocks, etfs, etc....Dan Dietz

You have assets but they don't generate you ongoing income.I think you should look at investments that can provide you an alternate source of income, so stocks and bonds, and buy and hold rentals.
