Asbury Park - What are your thoughts?

Hello BP'ers! First time making a post here!

So my wife and I purchased our first property last year in Asbury Park. We both used to frequent Asbury as kids going to all the great shows and we got to see it develop to what it is today. Seeing Asbury's evolution has been amazing, to say the least. We recently had to move to Hoboken for work but we kept our apartment which we now rent. Owning and landlording have given us a newly found love for real estate investing and now we're looking to buy another investment property.

Naturally, I searched BP for Asbury Park but I'm shocked not much has been discussed, especially in the last few years. I just wanted to open up a current discussion on the area. What do you think about Asbury Park? If you've invested in the area, do you have any suggestions?
