I'm not sure why a landlord would want to put themselves at risk by breaking the law, regardless of how one feels emotionally on this subject.

This is a reason why you let emotions temper down before opening your mouth or typing on a public forum.

Said reason is for the sons emotional support dog a Miniature dachshund. 

These sellers had owned the properties for 20+ years and some were involved with the building/development of the properties... so some emotional attachment was involved.

One more tip – people remember stories that trigger their emotions.

It was a competitive time to buy, but now I think I would remove the emotion more out of it and know that there's always another deal.

If you are slow to respond, are indecisive, or act emotionally rather than professionally, then they'll stick around because they see you as a toothless snake with a lot of hiss but no bite.The best thing you could do is hire an attorney.
