I did one in May and the loan got escalated all the way to the board of directors apparently.

They do not use escalation clauses and seemed confused with the concept.

It was also a tremendous amount of work, required constant attention, and killed my Dad's "dream" of RV Park ownership.

Secondly, BofA has shown in a tremendous amount of situations how crooked they are.

As for having the lot free and clear, that's a tremendous help, depending on the value.

She is not a contractor and has not filed a small claims case There is no court order  The bottom line you can sue for damages if she files a lien  The damages would be escalated if you were in escrow or had a refinance going on Tell her to pound sand

My tenant never reported the leak to me and said he fixed it himself.I did nothing wrong but I’m afraid if I don’t settle and it goes to a jury trial they will be prejudiced against landlords and see me as rich because I own several properties (which many are losing money because of escalating property taxes).
