I have three main questions..1) I've read on BP that starting an LLC is only really a good choice if you are in a partnership situation, which we are, though my question is whether or not there may be better options for partnerships, other than starting an LLC.. 2) What is the best way to go about obtaining a mortgage in a partnership situation.

Recently I was scanning through loopnet and I came upon this deal in New York which read" 19-Unit Sponsor owned Condo package Rockaway NY".

I’m glad I’m part of this community and can read through a wealth of information that is free and most importantly very interesting to read.

I would doubt they can disallow an LLC from owning it but you should read the condo docs

Hey Lupe,       I 100% agree,  you can analyze a million deals, read 100 books, listen to 100 podcasts etc but if you never actually do a deal, what good is it? 

From what I've read, I think I have to live in Florida to form an LLC in that state. 

I’ve been doing as much research and reading as much as I can on the topic of FSBO and negotiating a good deal, but wanted to see if members of BP may have some advice or negotiating a better deal that a new member may be naive to see in plain sight.
