I am looking at networking with agents that help people full fill their second home mountain dreams and/or retirement dreams of moving to the mountains.

All I have to say is keep on doing the activities (open houses, attend community events, network, etc) and the business will come to you.

By networking with that investor you can open many doors.

You are guaranteed to get some hostile responses at some point, and possibly put yourself in harms way from angry/desparate people.I would stick with a multi-pronged marketing approach (direct mail/postcards, recurring newspaper/pennysaver ads, signs, networking, etc.), and leave the door-knocking to the vaccuum salesmen.Get creative.
