Too much into the weeds here, but you can look it up in United States Code Title 11 & sections of Titles 18, 26, 28, and 50 of the U.S.C. if that floats your boat.Depending where they are in the process, it probably is a total waste of time unless you can sort through lots of cases and you know what to look for and have a bankruptcy attorney experienced in purchasing properties from bankruptcy estates.

Consulting an attorney who can review your specific  mortgage note would be well worth the fees on this one, good luck!

Be a sponge and take notes.Once you have selected a target niche and gained knowledge, then bring a deal you have brewing here for experienced investors to analyze. 

I would research brands of mini spits and read the reviews to see how reliable they are and what is a good brand.

Reviewing your blog, the point regarding going small and partnering most likely sounds like the ideal option at this time.

I'm not discouraging you, but being an experienced marketour in many lead types this is the most difficult for a new person to close deals.
