It is a good idea to talk with a qualified tax professional regarding your contributions to each, but many people do have both retirement account types.

I don't think any banks that I've worked with at least would entertain that type of an arrangement without some sort of portfolio behind it.

I won't do this type of contract unless I have dealt with the client a few times.
