Even if you can get insurance through another source it is going to be very expensive and you really need the STR coverage.

Most cleaners will have a few colleagues or family members that they have for coverage should the need arise.

STR insurance is not a normal animal, we get ours from 'Proper Insurance' they provide coverage through Lloyd's of London and they were the only ones who understood our situation where our primary residence is in the same building as our apartment rental.

The LL liability coverage would kick in for any claim concerning the tenant suing for injuries and the tenant would be in the cold if the work was not authorized, if it was authorized the LL would need workmens comp as any other employee/sub-contractor.

DSCR is debt service coverage ration.
