I learned the hard way trying buy something and mexico and lost a lot of money  please please google  and read lots first mexico realestate scams fraud, you are investing in a country where corruption even at the judicial levels is out of control , and even attorney generals governors local were not able to help with anything, i know over 40 investors that lost millions of dollars , do yourself a favor and do business in USA, where even with a bad purchase, flip, rental  can recover some money and lose 40K instead of hundreds .
