As provided in Alaska Statute 29.45.480(b), upon sale of tax-foreclosed property, the Municipality shall provide the former owner of the property written notice advising of the amount of excess and the manner in which a claim for the balance of the proceeds may be submitted.

They should advertise and screen in a timely manner just like if the owner was doing it.

I've even seen tenants get high-maintenance breeds that bark, shed, dig, scratch, and otherwise behave in a manner that is more likely to cause stress than reduce it.It's all a sham.

My experience is that they are NOT good with completing maintenance issues in a timely manner and MUST be "looked after" if/when you have them.
