I think this is a desperation move by a seller in a bad market and I’d still go with some kind of lease with an option where the title stayed in my name.

Not knocking wholesaling…I just think it’s a hit or miss thing and for me and my market I don’t find it reliable enough to scale the way I’d like or worth the additional exposure/risk it brings.Luckily, we have good deals on the mls here.I appreciate the suggestion and I’ll keep watching the deals come through!!

I see these properties as places I'd want to stay long-term even though they may be just rentals.I will look into attending my local RE meetups as I can understand what other investors go through and seek advice from other couples who invest.

I have a VA loan option from when I was in the military I have not used and have the down payment I’d need for our next residence so I don’t necessarily need to sell in order to buy my next house.

I told him I needed a few days to think about it, and after I told him I’d pass on the course this was his response… Personally I don’t think this or any program is worth it just because there is plenty of information out there.
