I started investing by pulling pre-foreclosure notices from our county and door-knocking, mailing marketing pieces to them and to probates, handwriting marketing letters, putting flyers out. 

From what I understand, not many have success so fast in mail marketing!

So basically you can kill two birds with one stone, by finding vacant or ugly houses to mail too and build your potential buyer list.Also, just curious how your market is down there?
