Not sure how to navigate it and want to be sure I do this being fully prepared.

It's important you study the law and prepare for this because it's likely to continue happening to you. 

I've looked at Avail, it promotes Lemonade and their own credit boosting program.I've looked at Rent Redi, it promotes U-Haul and their own rental insuranceI've looked at Cozy but now it's all in Apartments.com and I kept getting errors while trying to test it.I am willing to pay for it.

I am looking at several licensing courses online and will be purchasing the courses/test prep and taking the test asap.

You just have to be prepared for everything.
