I don't want any part of her money, and do just fine earning for myself.The scenario here is that she didn't come into $2m(I know that was just a guesstimate and I didn't specify what she came into), but she came into a few hundred thousand which won't necessarily sustain her for the rest of her life.

Cheap route is to remove the mold with a bleach solution, then apply Kilz original oil based to everything, thus painting that place top to bottom white with the Kilz.

However, effectively the returns for all of the updates are negative (except for 1 maybe, attic insulation), so the logical solution is to not do any remodeling prior to selling.So if you're expected to pay retail to contractors, is it safe to say you should generally leave the property as is prior to sale?
