Shiloh,  I appreciate the time you have taken to illustrate this point,  I do see what the difference sound counsel and the impact of using less of my money can have along the journey.  

I've been surveying property managers that I know here to see how the pandemic has impacted their ability to rent property.

To some degree they understand the financial impact and crisis due covid-19 and the aftermath which will take many months to not only restore general public confidence before a vaccine is readily available, but mostly when the economy will ready for an upswing cycle.

Hi Jacob,It won't impact your credit score but it will show up in your record impacting negatively your ability to get a new loan, refinance or cash out.

It takes around 6-8 months to lay off to happen and local economy to get impacted since at that job category almost everyone has savings etc .  

@Benson Gee You'd be surprised how much of an impact sticking to a system can have.

The institutional relationship will not be impacted if you use forbearance in the current situation as the CARES act outlined.

Not worried about the impact on the taxes I pay, but wanting to make sure everything on my return is filled out properly to reduce my risk of getting audited down the line. 

I chose the former; if the city floods (and it is prone to do so at times), the impact to my property would be basement water damage.

I am not concerned about future financial impacts on our investing decisions. ie, I don't think the economy is going to fall apart and will continue to improve as it has been.
