I’ve been reviewing material...I’d like to start talking to pros and possibly getting mentored.

I am a go-getter that is willing to work for free for a local mentor if necessary to gain knowledge (haven't found one yet but I won't stop attending events and networking until I do)5.

My background and passion is teaching and have mentored people in MF for years, both formally (for a fee) and informally.At this time there will be no charge for the meet-up and it's content, just wanting to give back and help others along the way.My Wife and business partner is a CPA with a background in MF tax and audit so she will be adding tons of value as well.The first one or two will be a welcome and get-to-know-you thing unless it looks like it's going to be well attended, if it is well attended then we will try to provide some high level insights and knowledge.

@Terry Dunlap a mentor once said "with my first step I'm a buyer, with my second step I'm a seller".

I also have a good friend, honest RE mentor that was owed money from this group and it took months to get it, then he still didn't get the full amount.Advice, input, feedback would greatly be appreciated.

Find yourself a realtor who works with primarily with investors to mentor you and add bench strength.
