It is extremely risky to not have any insurance in the event of a huge loss such as the house burns to the ground or a major lawsuit involving your property because of an injury.

If it's an RSO they should have to file something with the city for evicting you. 

We called duct pipe company checked and stated no leaking of duct pipe but saw the leaking on roof.So we filed company against roof company to roof board.

No verbal understandings allowed where money is involved.
