I will be building a mother-in-law type of suite on the one side of the home, breaking it into a duplex that is a 3-bed, 2 bath 1250 sf home on one side, and on the other will be a 1000 sf 1 bed, 1 bath studio with the 5th bedroom converting into a home office or spare bedroom for the studio tenants.

Ideally, I'd like all my rental properties to be owned by my LLC.I'm confident I can raise the funds through a cash-out refi on my personal property to obtain my next rental property, but when it comes to a refi on the rental after rehabbing it, will that have to be another commercial loan since I want it owned by my LLC?

I was very hands on in the process and based on that experience I would agree that a full BRRRR is not ideal for my first investment property, especially considering that the property may be in a different state.
