It is currently a tree farm.The area is popular for vacation home owners from Chicago.

I have been investing in residential and notes in the past; but given current market conditions, CRE is the more lucrative strategy, I think. 

My current living situation is very stressful but keeping positive.

I'm looking into Winnipeg at the moment, and was wondering if anyone here currently invests there. 

Two of those properties ended up as LTRs which also made decent returns so I'm not a total newbie to real estate.So I've got three projects I'm looking at that will affect timing etc.1- My wife and I are currently more than half way through building a new primary residence house north of Asheville, projected completion in October.

I thought about doing cash out refi, but my current rate is 3.5%.
