I would like to continue Investing, but unsure if I take the job where I would like to live that it wouldn’t actually some what cripple my investing career.

Also, Michael's strategy worked for me as well - starting out as an equity partner with experienced sponsors played a huge education role in my journey and allowed me to make some cash along the way. 

That sounds like Google should come into play.

Would I just continue to buy one house at a time or would it be better to try to scale up (larger package of sfh or small multis) I work a steady job and my strategy right now is buy and hold.

When I was renting out my SFH, it always plays out as this: The person who calls us to inquire will have a swimmingly well history but once we request the history of the girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife, baby mother or baby father we get a nightmare report about them.

Like the previous posts have mentioned, the amenities play a large role in determining the rent price. 

The broker may know the price is too high, but they’re playing a game to get the listing.
