Construction went from 8 weeks to 14 weeks due to a variety of reasons; main one being that I let the wrong person lead the project on the ground level, which ended up leaving things at a stand-still a week here and a week there, and those weeks and days of doing nothing adds up fast! 

I asked to do a walk through inspection before leaving but management said they do not do that. 

I'm not to the point of leaving my day job yet, but am curious about refinancing when I get to that point. 

@David Martin Jr I think the real question you should be asking yourself is why are you concerned with how much they have it under contract for?

I have no plans to leave my career anytime soon.If there's anything I've learned it's to set goals (unreachable ones at that), be prepared & educated, and get started (which is by far the hardest part of this journey for me).

This has been nothing but rural pasture land all its life so I doubt any environmental concerns exist.

If no one was home I'd leave the side up that was buying if it was owner occupied and the other side if it was a rental.

I'm in the insurance business and ALWAYS recommend it due to the inexpensiveness and the hole it leaves in peoples policies. 

Ask to her leave a plate of cookies and a glass of milk out when she goes to bed.

Now, the PM has used the entire security deposit to pay the late fees, leaving nothing to cover damages when the tenant moves out today.
