What neighborhoods have you been looking at so far?

All depends on the neighborhood.

The best way to determine where to invest, is get out and drive the neighborhoods and see for yourself.

The multifamily market is exciting to me because as more and more people move to the city; theres less and less space.

Average rent in our neighborhood for our home is $1650-$1750.

There is only 1 parking space for the entire property; however, it is located in a city and two blocks from the largest employer in the area.

Hello,I am a first time investor looking at a 3 family investment opportunity in Dorchester, MA (not the nicest part of the city, but cash flowing is pretty common - a lot of subsidized housing).

Most said they would not attempt to do them without hiring someone after dealing with all of the steps to make them come out nice.Nice thread on this site regarding painting cabinetsIs your rental in an neighborhood with mid grade finishes?  

I live in the Boston area and it seems as if the closest I can get is about 20-25mins outside of the city.

While living there, I've learned a few small tips about the house such as how to deal with the mice (we're in the city) and how to clear the back patio drain when it clogs (it looks bad but it's really not).
