This is really unique situation, the residential properties near by has different use, therefore not good for comparables. or do I let them do their market research any way?

Hello BP,Does anyone know any good attorneys in the Mobile, AL area that are familiar with landlord/tenant disputes and similar situations?

Memphis Invest would be one group to look at.If you're looking to be more of an active, hands-on investor, you need to decide whether your situation is going to allow you to travel to a market(s) for acquisitions or whether you would rather have boots on the ground in those markets.  

Definitely not the rockstar tenants type of situation here haha

So currently im paying mortgage and hoa on a property that is gone and im curious if there is something i should be looking into to make my situation better before its rebuilt. 

@Eli M.The situation with your lender sounds a bit odd but I suppose different strokes for different lenders. 

As prior Military myself I have to agree with what @Nathaniel Cherubini said, contact his command and let them know the situation.
