I'm new to BiggerPockets and was wondering if I have a 7-month gap in my work history, can I still be approved for a loan?

I would suggest you get linked up with a real estate focused CPA. 

I just haven't figured out the best approach to document that arrangement.That being said, I haven't investigated leveraging other lenders via white paper or brokering loans, primarily because I like the returns and the relationships.Jeff,  Thanks for the suggestion for AAPL.

Perhaps when the business lines of credit grow after sustained  responsible use, the value will pay off in the longer run as compared to other options I may have missed/not thought of (such as what you suggested).

I've wondered this myself, but mostly because I manage my own property locally and feel I could easily do it. 

I'd suggest giving them a call to see if they can help you out.
