I purchased a single family home in 2016 in the Sacramento with my VA loan, before purchasing our first home I did not know much about real estate and investing, I began reading real estate and investment books and found biggerpockets, I'd listen to the podcasts, watch every video they'd put out on YouTube and I read every book that biggerpockets had put out at the time.

I chatted with them on the phone and said that they work with different banks and the loans are issued as "personal loans" based on the individual's credit score, and it can be used to purchase real estate as well.

Should I teach myself from books, podcasts, and videos?
