I am an investor in the city of Chicago. 

You lose your job, your wife loses her job, the city you invest in gets crushed, the banks you deal with start tightening the reigns, your contractors go under, your funding dries up, etc.

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Can anyone recommend an investor-friendly referral in the Baltimore area? I am a serious full-time investor. 

Lucky for you, the greater Puget Sound market is only getting hotter as Seattle prices people out of the city, so if you sell now you'll likely make a pretty good profit.

One of my west Philly properties (row house) was cited for a city violation in February that said the structure was "unsafe".  

We ran into some issues with the pool install, and the city were very, very slow and unprofessional when it came to the permitting process.

As I learn more details about the Indy market, it seems like there is so much going on in the city with different initiatives and development that it can make these areas of opportunity.

It is in a large (not huge) city 3 minutes walk to major University.

It is a very active job that takes a decent amount of work and time.What areas are you able to afford (for flipping you really should be working in or around the city you live in to start out)?
