Did they teach  your friend and does he understand creative financing methods (hybrid offers, delayed settlement, front porch offers, 100% formula, split notes, vertical break up, principal mortgages - no interest, substitution of collateral, owner refi for take over or split notes)? 

Because if you're giving up on saying "I have a partner" but substituting "I work with 1000s of cash buyers/investors", that's not a huge improvement.

A good starting point for someone new is to get dialed in with your local REIA.BP is fine, but it is no substitute for personal contact with other investors.If your interest is wholesaling, another good starting point is to be a Bird Dog for the dominant wholesaler in your area.  

I only saw the Substitute Trustee Deed and the Removal of Trustee – both of these documents reference a correction affidavit recording data instead of the deed of trust recording data.
