From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people.

People might argue this with me, but I do not believe the vast majority of these folks are deadbeats, but somewhat a victim of the market, government pushed loans, and "instant gratification" conditioning that our society provides.

California will attract even more unproductive members of society who are looking to get high legally.
