You will find a lot of false information on the Internet because a lot of companies that do drywall remediation you scare tactics so they can charge very high prices.  

But, you must adhere to reasonable standards when remedying the situation.  

With drywall, to do proper mold remediation you need to replace it.  

Mistake noted, understood and will be remedied on the next acquisitions.

Its been a while, so I don't remember the specifics, but if you ask a remediation specialist they will tell you about them.

In my jurisdiction the Tenant Landlord Law gives me some latitude, RCW 59.18.070 states,  "If completion is delayed due to circumstances beyond the landlord's control, including the unavailability of financing, the landlord shall remedy the defective condition as soon as possible." 

You should not have to compensate them, you did what was required in trying to remedy the situation- they couldn't be there to meet the electrician.  

There was a development on last week with another deal that caused issues with the others we had on table but that has since been remedied by Patty and Charles and she will go over all details with you on Tues to get your deal closed out. 

They might be willing to install a storm drain to remedy the situation.
