Sometimes you can search the online county records for this information.In addition, I believe it is required by all states that the individual counties must publish (in a public publication) the list of all properties that will be auctioned off on the courthouse steps (this would include all foreclosures).

If someone is going to redeem, it's usually going to be a commercial property, or a family farm, or something owned by a church.Change in law for mortgages signed after January 1, 2016: If the borrower claimed a homestead exemption for the ad valorem tax year immediately preceeding the auction, then the lender must give certain required notices to the borrower, and must also publish those notices in the newspaper foreclosure notice.

Hey BP, I've recently made an account (yesterday) and have been reading articles, the e-book that BP is so kind to publish and I've been looking at different real estate deals in my area (San Diego) and I've noticed that although I typically never find properties that do better than 1% rent over price, there are some properties given that the down payment is high enough, that I am able to "beat" so to say, the 50% rule.
