My wife and I are looking into investing in short term rentals in vacation markets surrounding NYC (Catskills, Adirondacks, Poconos, etc) and just wanted to check if anyone here might have some insights they could share.

Seeking advice on tough situation:I have a rental property in Las Vegas, currently vacated as lease ended. 

Are they going to be on vacation?

Are you aware of any online forums for people who are severely allergic to animals and who want to find a vacation rental that is less likely to trigger their allergic reactions? 

You could try talking to them and posting a notice to vacate as you now own the home, but I wouldn't go alone and I doubt they will leave. 

With 3 bedrooms it's more of an issue, but people on vacation are somewhat accustomed to it. 

So a 2 week vacation, they let me know before they go.

No alarms to wake up to and as many vacation days as we want in a year! 

If it was a single family or 1 unit you would only need to put 10% down as a Second home or Vacation home.

In a vacation rental in Florida, people want a pool.
