Heck you could grub hub your way to your 1st downpayment for an FHA.

Those areas will all be cheaper than looking at hubs in town like Oakland.

But one suggested creating an LLP as the "holding company" instead, (with me and hubs as a single limited partner, and an LLC we create as a 1% general partner).I'm wondering if anyone in PA is familiar with a structure like the LLP suggestion, and what might be the pros/cons of going that route?

Living in Southern MA, I'm interested in the Providence, RI area because I would like to start a hub in a reasonably priced location not too far from home. 

Our city is the main hub for entertainment, medical, shopping, etc.

Is there a centralized hub for HOA covenants in/around Houston, or will researching them be an address-by-address affair?

Here's my problem: I live in London, KY which is city of 10,000 people about an hour outside of any major city hub.

Don't forget, Lubbock is the healthcare hub for an enormous area of Texas and eastern New Mexico.

Even in 2008, rents were rising in areas that were close to the freeways or main work hubs.
