Is a foreclosure pending for some reason....taxes, insurance can't be paid?  

In the judicial section you can do a criminal conviction and also pending case look-up.

Then they have something called a status price which would be the sold price if closed and the most recent list price if active, pending or expired.  

New Jersey is the number one state for people leaving right now , which is might make a great market pending on the supply and demands chain...

The day of the open house it went "Pending - Contingent Showing," I went and asked the agent what happened and she said the owners just got an all cash offer they couldn't refuse.I'm in the same situation about whether we should wait since charts and discussions show that it'll cool down, but I think you'll just never know and I feel like the longer I wait, the more it grows.. even  if it grows slower, it's still growth.

In general most everybody will tell you that if you can find a real deal then maybe it is worth it and they will tell you to be careful of the pending market correction.
