I recently read an opinion piece in the wall street journal about how living in Austin is like being killed by a 1000 cuts.

I would recommend living in the area first, reading the local business journal, and attending some investment meetups to get a lay of the land.

You just get use to it.One of the company's board members, in a moment of extreme candor, told a trade journal on the eve of one layoff (the tech economy was extremely slow at that point and everyone knew something drastic had to be done) that tech companies have to be proactive with layoffs because if they aren't, they will end up with people who don't know how to find another job.

I've got my 90 days of intention journal on it's way and few guys to hopefully meet with regularly.

Also I picked up the 90 day journal and just got into my own small mastermind group which i am looking forward to very much.

If you paid the mortgage using an account not set up in Quickbooks (ie. personal account) then you will book the transaction as journal entry debit to principal, interest, escrow accounts, and credit to owner's contribution (equity) account. 

I now take time to journal each day, mediate, exercise more often, and eat slightly better (Need to still be better here)!
