Hello,I have been looking for my first multi unit (duplex) in the Willamette Valley wine country area of Oregon ( it will become Sonoma in 20 years ;-) ) and my retired father (healthy and active  66 years old) has been mildly interested in selling his home (no mortgage) for a change of scenery and possibly to move closer to our growing family.

I started in the RE game by helping my father Property Manage and fix up our family owned duplex when I was a young man.

I also held a real estate broker license in Texas for about 30 years but I never did that full time.Part of that reason was from my father's commercial real estate experience at that time and my college degree gave me the ability to get it if you qualified for it and in Texas you go strait to a broker license. 

Hey guys, Here’s my situation, I had bought a 3-family home last year, lived in one of the apartments for a year and now moved back in with my father to get that extra income from the 3rd unit which is basically house hacking.
