I don't have a permit to start construction yet but am not contemplating whether my original plan is the way to go.I know this is a long post but I wanted to provide as much relevant information as I could and I truly appreciate everyone's time in helping me with this critical decision!! 

That's what i call critical thinking...My liberal arts degree had some merit, afterall. 

I think it is critical to get a good tile installer and do it right.
