Only things I’ve seen over the years are Gas Burner, Heat Pump, “Solar” (run the water through black piping exposed to the sun.) and once on the tv show thsi old home I saw an AC unit that dumped its heat to the pool.

@Joe Splitrock Joe - I seem to remember I kept my old American Standard and the local natural gas company just replaced the oil burner attached to it with a gas burner and plumbed the line in.
