CA the one in Shasta area is devastating the ones in Lake co are primarly burning off BLM brush land but have gotten into areas of nicer forest land.. the Ranch I grew up on in Lake Co was in the Path and I just talked to my brother and the entire 1,500 acres the fire ran through..

I went to elementary, middle and high school in the DFW area and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Advertising.My mom, brother, sister, dad, niece and nephew all still live in the DFW area and I visit them as often as I can and usually spend Christmas in DFW.

My brother and dad plan to invest with me so we will collectively come up with the money for the 20% I assume a conventional loan will qualify but I’m concerned the banks will not see me as a viable candidate for a loan since I still owe so much on the house I just bought (my brother also bought a house August of 2017)Are there any other loans other than conventional I should be looking into?

Wow @ramsin jacob That's awesome that your getting deals for those type of returns Now I'm not sure about your particular market but from my understanding what I have been told is that your market is flooded with competition where is my market doesn't have that much competition so the rate of getting more deals is a lot more then getting one great deal so it might even work out to being the same in the long run however again I'm not sure I'm only basing my knowledge off of an investor that lived in California move to Massachusetts and started investing out here But then again he could be wrong as well But I guess the point is no matter what market ur in as long as you're making some type of money and helping people that's all that matters And a definitely congratulations to you brother
