Do they smell like Cheech and Chong's van?

As with everything, getting started is always an uphill battle and I get that.I would be looking right now for a title company because thats not something you want to find at the last minute(trust me).Yeah.

I have two properties in the Fort Bragg area that are being managed by a battle buddy of mine that I have served with for over 10 years.

Something doesn't "smell" right.

It smells fishy to me.

Do you smell cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke, other odors? 

Though there will be many factor that underwriting (and any good mortgage banker) will look at - when was the property bought, was it bought as primary and then switched to investment, how long as it been an investment, how far is it from the new property, it is nice then the new property that you want to buy, etc.The point been that the new purchase needs to pass the smell test.

I found a good 3br 1.5 bath that needs a new roof, new paint on the inside and it has a weed like smell that I'm not sure about. 

It shouldn't smell inside the house unless he is leaving the door open.
