While you might think that there's nothing wrong about getting paid for a referral as long as it's good (I've never done it myself), the problem lies elsewhere: you have to understand that their opinion or advice could be biased or first and foremost in their own self-interest, especially if they're not disclosing their financial interest.

gosh, this is awful, as I am finding out, they want your money but lie about they're there to help you.

The judge will look at them with an evil eye when they lie to the court.

It is state tax lien, not Federal IRS lie. 

He can't even keep them straight, Might want to find an app to keep his lies and fraud straight.
